Also there was a performance art by Raquel de Loyola called “Subsisting Sustenance”

From a paper I wrote about her work: The artist is supposed to be the multi-breasted Bagobo goddess Mebuyan, the guardian of the dead and the lady of the underworld. The liquid from her breasts are for nursing the deceased children in the afterlife. Also a symbol for fetility, Mebuyan is the Filipino counterpart of the Greek goddess Gaea, or better known as Mother Earth.

I’m sure the artist of this picture was only thinking of boobs, but just so you guys know, hahaha, we have a goddess named Mebuyan who has shitloads of breasts to feed dead babies, and she might just look like that woman in the picture.
